a reissue of a cassette from 2014 this is what i said about it back then: recorded at the Jam Space in Toronto Canada, The Jam space is a rehearsal space frequented mostlty by heavy metal and reggae bands, it was typical to have 3 bands blasting away at once creating an almost Ivesian configuration...at times the adjoining sound had it's way with Ruryk's recordings...distant voices seep into the mixes, wormlike burrowing of bass slithering through the dingy lows.....there was often friction between bands as a folding chair, the property of "Huge and The Massives". was moved absent mindedly around the hallways, breaching territorial law etc...listen to the recordings and you will sense urgency and fear as ruryk dodges hecklers and metal just outside the door.. when it got to be too much he took refuge at the nearby Country Style Donut shop hence the name....this pretty much explains it all.....
